Terrazzo is made from a Premium blend of 70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool and 30% Recycled Viscose. This felted, tweed yarn has a luxurious look and feel. The subtly speckled color effect, reminiscent of terrazzo floors, is achieved by twisting fibers of contrasting and complementary colors.

Scheepjes Terrazzo benefits from the breathability of Wool and Viscose and combines the best qualities of both. Lightweight Viscose is moisture absorbent and gives a silky soft feel with beautiful drape, while the wool contributes the rustic appearance and wonderful warmth. This makes Terrazzo suitable for a diverse range of crochet and knitting projects of all shapes and sizes: from clothing, such as sweaters and cardigans, to fashion accessories and homeware. Scheepjes recommend hand washing only, at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees C. To prevent possible further felting, the item should be washed separately, with minimal agitation. Excess water should be gently squeezed out, rather than wrung.
